Our beautiful Italian restaurant in Wetherby is now open all day on Saturday and Sundays from 12:00pm every weekend.
Sant' Angelo is a modern, stylish state of the art bar and a stunning 2,500 sq foot restaurant area with open plan kitchen which extends out on to a spacious terrazza for al fresco dining.
Paolo Returns!
Sant' Angelo is happy to announce that Head Chef, Paolo Gallus who managed our menu's and kitchens since our first restaurant 'La Locanda' opened in Wetherby in the early 1990's has now returned to Sant' Angelo's to add his expertise and flare to our extensive food offering.
Paolo, the handsome chap on the left, is heading up his team of nine chefs, providing a new menu representative of the finest regional dishes from their native Italy.
A fine menu selection of anti-pasto is also available all day in the adjoining wine bar.
Formerly The Angel in Wetherby, Sant' Angelo has plenty of history to live up to. The listed building is 300 years old and was a popular half-way coaching inn for travellers on the Great North Road making their journey from London and Edinburgh. We are very keen to maintain The Angel's tradition and continue its heritage by calling the restaurant Sant' Angelo, an Italian version of the same name.
